Specifically, key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:- Support program implementation including strategic support to relevant government departments in operational roll-out of programmatic activities including national policy and coordination, with a specific focus on integrating the delivery of behavioral and structural HIV prevention interventions in routine HIV prevention programming.- Support the design and implementation of processes, systems for collection, collation, and synthesis of program data to inform program strategy, operations, and reviews- including development.- Monitor program implementation activities; identify potential risks and challenges to the implementation plan and roll-out of activities; work towards addressing potential risks/ mitigation mechanisms.- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, presenting findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.- Provide input into relevant planning and policy documents to support the introduction and scale-up of innovations within HIV prevention.- Maintain key relationships with HIV prevention stakeholders at the provincial and district levels to ensure alignment of operations and priorities while minimizing duplication of efforts.- Perform other duties as requested.
- Participate in all relevant administrative, financial and project related review and planning meetings (including preparation of project budgets).- Responsible for organizational and project related bookkeeping / accounting work, including recording of all financial transactions using accounting software.- Ensure booking of expenses in line with approved budget, accounts code, budget line etc for proper reporting and monitoring of expenses.- Ensure completion of all the documents in vouchers before processing the payment.- Process payments to partners, vendors, and employees on timely basis.- Ensure timely settlement of advance payments to staff/vendors.- Ensure timely payment of monthly statutory dues, closure of monthly accounts and reporting.- Prepare monthly office / project specific financial reports. Assist with reconciliation of books of accounts with overall accounts maintained by the Head Office.- Ensure that administrative and financial registers (like registers for attendance, leave records, Staff movement, personal vehicle use, incoming and outgoing correspondence, stocks) are maintained properly.- Assist the Finance Officer/Lead in all financial audit related activities, at project or organizational level.- Undertake any other activities and responsibilities as reasonably required by the organization/Supervisor.- Maintaining appropriate files/records/documents towards meeting legal and statutory requirements.
- Lead meeting planning and coordination, support recruitment and onboarding of new staff members, update program communication materials, maintain knowledge management platforms, and manage software licenses- Develop internal management and donor reporting templates, and manage processes for completion of templates- Ensure knowledge flow for team, including the sharing of information and knowledge across CHAI teams- Support development of subrecipient contracts, processing of invoices, tracking of payments, and monitoring of contract spend against budget- Write, edit, and format reports and presentations- Plan and attend team meetings, including assisting in the arrangements of hotels, tracking related expenses and agendas for team meetings- Develop and maintain administrative resources to facilitate efficient operations across the program (contact lists, calendar, website, etc.)- Manage and organize program documents, data, and files- Provide thought partnership with the Program Director to improve operational efficiency and a positive team culture- Perform other tasks as necessary
- Support WJCF’s Immunization team and the Government of Bihar in implementing the routine immunization program by strengthening management, governance, service delivery, and supply chain aspects.- Provide the state leadership with insights to aid key policy, strategy, and program implementation decisions. The role also involves supporting the government in developing high-impact reports and presentations. The analyst will be instrumental in communicating key findings and recommendations to stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making at all levels.- Develop the capacity of the state and sub-state program managers in data analytics by developing easy to use dashboards and performance reports for program review meetings, planning, and decision-making.- Analyst will also support the state in training of program managers and data handlers in data analytics.- Conceptualize, design, and coordinate program monitoring and evaluation close collaboration with the state and program leadership.- Document program progress through reports, presentations, concept notes, proposals, and templates for internal use and dissemination at state and national levels.- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the immunization ecosystem in the state.- Create customized tools and templates for evidence driven decision-making and review at the sub-state level.- Travel on short notice to various parts of the state.- Undertake any other duties as requested by the Supervisor.
- Support the Program Manager in the development and execution of the program strategy and operational plan for the implementation research project.- Conceptualize, develop and execute research methodologies, using qualitative and quantitative data collection tools, to learn about the root-causes behind under-immunization and support in the solution design as part of the implementation research project.- Provide regular analytical and programmatic support to the team on Routine Immunization strengthening initiatives- Develop purposive research insights, visualizations, tools, templates, and planning aids that support in dissemination of research outputs and overall impact of programmatic efforts.- Stay updated of public health trends and emerging technologies to inform research projects and contribute to ongoing learning and improvement.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and the development of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.- Maintain accurate records of research activities, data sources, and analytical processes, ensuring transparency and accountability.- Support the field team members on identified aspects that help them improve their research and documentation skills and aid their growth journey.- Travel on short notice to various parts of the state and occasionally to national destinations.- Undertake any other duties as requested by program leadership.
• Work as an integral part of the provincial team to provide focused support on the execution of the malaria reduction strategies;• Support annual and monthly planning of malaria activities in the province;• Serve as a liaison between CHAI’s malaria technical teams and the province to support translation of global guidance on malaria reduction into successful implementation at provincial level;• Work very closely with provincial and district health teams to strengthen adherence to surveillance algorithms and tools, including participating in the training of district and health facility staff as needed;• Support supervision of district health teams to ensure high standards in surveillance, reporting and resolving surveillance-related bottlenecks. • Support capacity building of district staff to collect, analyze and use epidemiological and vector control data to identify drivers of transmission and inform decision making.• Provide robust analytical and data management support to present progress in implementation of the malaria reduction strategies;• Support presentation and discussion of policies and strategies on malaria reduction• Any other duties as assigned by manager
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of each CSO’s current organization structure, resources, and capacity for sustainability planning.- Organize workshops to educate the target CSOs on the concept of sustainability planning and its importance in achieving long-term impact.- Provide training on sustainable resource mobilization, fundraising strategies, and partnership development (including facilitating connections between CSOs and potential partners such as businesses, government agencies, and other non-profits.- Support CSOs in developing tailored sustainability plans, outlining strategies for generating resources, securing diversified funding sources, maintaining community engagement beyond the project’s duration, and ensuring the continuation of immunization support initiatives beyond the project’s duration.- Ensure communication and alignment of activities across government and partner stakeholders and across other CHAI programs to ensure coordination and successful execution.- Work with CHAI's technical teams and Program Manager(s) to develop and implement a coordinated program of support.- Support capacity building of key government functionaries on relevant competencies for sustained ownership and delivery.- Prepares technical notes and submits for review.- Prepare, review and initial sign off participants statement of payments and follow up on timely payment of participants.- Prepares and submits expense and activity reports within three days of completion of field activity.- Perform other responsibilities as requested by program leadership.
- Support the Senior Technical Advisor daily so outputs and workstreams are achieved on time through operational, technical and analytical support.- Monitor progress and track key indicators for quarterly milestones and objectives for workforce retention, deployment and sustainability for reporting purposes.- Conduct field visits and work inclusively with officials at the subnational level to generate, test and institutionalize evidence related to Human Resources for Health sustainability.- Attend meetings and other forums at the national and subnational level to identify issues and opportunities related to Human Resources for Health.- Assist in developing tools, templates and presentations on evidence generated and workstream priorities to suit various audiences.- Engage and work with officials at the national level to identify their human resources for health priorities by attending meetings and supporting ongoing work (such as operational planning).- Support the development of national strategic plans and other documents that provide the roadmap and vision for Human Resources for Health.- Conduct other ad-hoc and emerging tasks related to evidence generation, implementation, and sustainability of human resources for health programmes.
Primary responsibilities will include:- Working closely with stakeholders at State ABDM Office (SAO), Maharashtra to design and implement an effective communication strategy and for creating awareness about ABDM and conduct regular capacity building initiative(s) in the state.- Strategic planning and execution of program activities by closely working with the field team (hired by the Interfacing Agency) and managing week-to-week targets and improvising the implementation strategy (if required). - Systematically monitoring progress, documenting, and distilling insights and reporting for the microsite(s) implemented in - Liaising with stakeholders such as the (i) Information, Education and Communication (IEC) team at NHA, and (ii) Various ABDM-enabled IT solution providers to ensure that field team (hired by the interfacing agency) is enabled to provide up-to-date and accurate information to healthcare professionals and to ensure a smooth onboarding process. - Report all issue(s) as identified on field (technical/ procedural) to (i) State ABDM office, (ii) NHA in a concise manner. Ensure that issues are resolved and timely action is taken. - Supporting SAO to identify and participate in medical conferences, workshops, and CME sessions to convey benefits of becoming a part of the ABDM ecosystem.- Engaging professional bodies and associations of healthcare professionals to leverage their existing communication channels (sessions, newsletters, magazines, blogposts, and such others) for spreading awareness about ABDM among their members.- Working closely with communication and research partners to sharpen the articulation and methods of conveying the value proposition of ABDM to healthcare professionals.- Exploring other innovative ways to reach out and engage healthcare professionals to enable them to participate in India’s digital health journey.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including cashbooks, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.- Monitor project expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and cost control measures.- Assist in budget preparation and monitor budget utilization, providing regular updates to project management.- Ensure compliance with USAID financial regulations and guidelines.- Assist in preparing financial reports for submission to USAID, adhering to specific reporting requirements.- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate external audits as required.- Support project staff in understanding and implementing financial policies and procedures.- Monitor project cash flow and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds.- Prepare cash flow projections and manage cash flow requirements.- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for fund transfers and other transactions.- Prepare VAT refund claims reports in compliance with donor rules and regulations.- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for project staff and visitors.- Maintain project-related documentation, contracts, and agreements.- Support procurement processes, including obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.- Assist managing vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to obtain the best value for goods and services.- Assist in maintaining inventory of project assets and equipment.
