- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in government, donors, and partner organizations.- Collaborate with the government to ensure skills transfer and government ownership at the MEPH- Support the development of work plans, budgets, and other materials for key activities.- Support the NEPH to implement the key activities, such as but not limited to: - Upgrade and new implementation of the eye health centers - School-based eye health screening - Mapping of the eye health private sector- Carry quantification and procurement exercises- Support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems to measure the impact of eye health programs and assess progress against project goals on a regular basis in coordination with the Program Manager- Support the program manager to analyze problems and develop a plan/recommendation to seek solutions through discussion with NPEH and Technical Management Group/TWG- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Program Manager
Product Management- Undertake requirements gathering for project MIS after consultation with all relevant internal and external stakeholders- Monitor and support development and maintenance of project MIS- Provide technical expertise, working closely with internal teams to translate organizational direction into systems and processes- Review Business Requirement Document and Technical Design documents developed by vendor and provide feedback- Liaise with technology vendors for system upgrades and enhancement to achieve business goals effectively- Monitor change in technology and regulations related to information capture and processing and voice and data transmission; evaluate their impact upon program activities and provide for the development and implementation of required policy and operational modificationsStakeholder Management- Coordinate with public stakeholders and other organizational entities for feedback and coordinationProgram Management- Understand reporting requirements and work with vendor to develop appropriate dashboards and reports at required frequency- Develop appropriate metrics and define business rules for reports- Negotiate and direct the administration of contracts for the provision of information and technology service- Administer all centralized information services functions and activities; oversee technology coordination with operation teams- Direct and participate in strategic and tactical planning to ensure proper data management and streamline information systems- Train and educate partners on data collection tools and equipment- Facilitate regular trainings of project staff in coordination with Training Coordinator
- Develop coverage improvement strategies in collaboration with key government stakeholders and development partners in the state under the guidance of the programme leadership.- Undertake evidence-based designing and implementing of immunization systems strengthening activities to improve full immunization coverage and quality of immunization service delivery in select districts and blocks.- Closely monitor execution of the work plan, work with the team on problem solving, and pull leadership attention of issues and opportunities.- Under guidance of programme leadership, provide strategic insight at technical working groups and/or other high-level meetings/conferences as a senior level representative.- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with government stakeholders and key partners at a senior level.- Build program by continually developing capacity and skills of staff, identifying human resources needs and leading recruitment of new team members.- Undertake and guide program reporting and tracking of milestones and outcomes.- Travel extensively to various parts of the state.- Undertake any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
- Support the state program leadership and the DoHFW in developing program implementation strategy, planning, and implementation of initiatives for oxygen access and health systems strengthening.- Undertake extensive research and develop an in-depth understanding of oxygen needs and landscape i.e., oxygen manufacturers, suppliers, users, and intermediaries; to inform program strategy and implementation at the state level.- Develop clear activity plans, in line with the program strategy, and support implementation of initiatives / activities at program sites.- Engage with and support WJCF program team, including field staff; and divisional and district-level health staff, for accomplishment of program goals.- Monitor and support the state program leadership and government stakeholders in identifying and bridging gaps in supply chain.- Generate insights on issues related to quality, composition, supply, and administration of medical oxygen and suggest corrective actions.- Reconcile parallel data sources to facilitate monitoring, synthesis, and analysis of data to draw meaningful insights. Oversee analytics, data-systems, and insight generation.- Support monitoring of activities, milestones, and outcomes; including tracking key outcome/impact indicators (as defined in the program logframe), tracking of key implementation activities, etc.; and identify, communicate, and recommend interventions where needed.- Support development of collaborative relationships with government stakeholders, technical and clinical experts, development partners, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.- Support development of compelling presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, such as progress narratives, update notes, research articles, etc.- Support in the planning and execution of capacity building initiatives for key government functionaries and service providers on relevant competencies for sustained ownership and delivery.- Perform other responsibilities as requested by programme leadership.

- Support DoHFW in all aspects of strategy, planning, and implementation of initiatives for oxygen access and health systems strengthening.- Build, execute, and monitor work plans based on goals and guidance from state government and WJCF leadership and support state DoHFW in prioritizing initiatives.- Closely monitor execution of workplan, work with the team on problem solving and engage with the leadership to underline risks, solve for challenges and/or build on opportunities.- Draft compelling presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.- Establish and manage collaborative relationships with the DoHFW, technical and clinical experts, development partners, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.- Support development of strategies to improve access to medical oxygen and implementation at the state, and facility levels based on in-depth understanding of oxygen needs and landscape i.e., oxygen manufacturers, suppliers, users, and intermediaries.- Under the aegis of the program leadership, provide strategic insight at technical working groups and/or other high-level meetings/conferences, as a senior level representative.- Ensure communication and alignment of activities across government and partner stakeholders' efforts and across other WJCF programs to ensure coordination and successful execution.- Build program(s) by continually developing capacity and skills of staff on the Essential Medicines and Oxygen Access program and other programs initiated / implemented in the state. The SEL will collaborate with and support the WJCF leadership and Human Resources team in defining resource requirement, identifying talent, anchoring recruitment, and supporting professional development needs at the state level.- Travel extensively within the state to support program implementation, and need based travel within India.- Perform other responsibilities as requested by programme leadership.
- Oversee processing of funds request by Sub Recipient (SR’s), reconciliation, review, and release of funds.- Prepare reporting formats for SR in line with approved budget and submit same for further review and adherence by SR’s.- Ensure timely submission of expenditure reports by SR’s, review the same and account the same in WJCF consolidated monthly accounts.- Provide guidance/training to SR’s on approved budgets, reporting requirements, variance reporting etc.- Conduct regular financial audits for sub-recipients and other implementing partners.- Follow up with SR’s for timely closure of audit observations and reporting.- Ensure proper recordkeeping and management of Assets for Global Fund Grant.- Review payments processed by Accountant/Accounts Associate and share the same with Finance Lead for further action.- Support Finance Lead in development and monitoring compliance of relevant policy guidelines- Ensure compliance of statutory and donor requirements for each project in respective city offices (branch and field offices)- Ensure organizational and project related bookkeeping / accounting work and maintenance of all associated records- Prepare and submit financial monthly / quarterly statements to the Finance lead- Responsible for preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows- Provide support to the Finance lead for statutory annual financial audit by an accredited agency, submissions / filings to relevant authorities, and ensuring adherence to recommendations made by the auditors
- Support the strategy manager in development and implementation of the Immunization Delivery Programme ensuring consistent improvements in supply chain and service delivery through strengthening of Cold Chain Management, Vaccines- Delivery & Logistics, Service Delivery, Data Systems and Review Mechanisms- Undertake primary and secondary research and deliver data-based insights to provide credible evidence for formulating systems strengthening strategies on immunization- Acquire data from public data sources and maintain data sets and support primary data collection from the field- Work closely with the programme team for providing effective data analysis against the set objectives and deviations- Prepare actionable and effective programme materials, presentations, reports for supporting communications with key stakeholders such as donors and government functionaries- Assimilate and triangulate information from multiple sources to monitor performance and inform strategy refresh where required- Support implementation of immunization systems strengthening activities to improve full immunization coverage and quality of immunization service delivery in key areas- Collaborate with government to ensure skills transfer and government ownership, identify the most critical hurdles to scaling up, and develop innovative strategies to address them- Co-ordinate project wide outputs related to reporting, compliance, and updates- Undertake any other duties as requested by the supervisor
- Create and continuously evolve an India market strategy that aligns with the goals for WJCF's market shaping program- Lead research and hypothesis testing in both the demand and supply sides of the room AC market- Develop and implement a portfolio of interventions that will help drive a rapid market transition to higher efficiency room ACs. These may include architecting an Advance Market Commitment, organizing a buyers club for bulk purchases, influencing public procurement standards, and testing approaches to consumer financing for next-generation room ACs.- Develop and leverage networks with key entities in the climate and cooling ecosystem in India; manage senior level relationships across government entities, private players, and partners- Serve as a thought leader and clean cooling expert internally and externally, and represent WJCF at various fora relevant to the Cooling sector- Closely monitor and control programme finances in line with organizational and donor requirements- Lead the drafting and dissemination of periodic and stand-alone donor updates and reports for effectively communicating the value of WJCF’s work- Build and grow the team and lead people in the programme in partnership with WJCF’s HR team; expand the team’s competency mix in line with the programme’s ambition over time
- Devise Data Quality Audit methods and reports and take corrective actions to ensure topmost data quality.- Clean and manage large data sets: create, record and execute data cleaning commands; version control data sets, link data sets etc.- Analyse large datasets: compute indicators from raw data, descriptive stats, and univariate and bivariate analyses; collapse data, merge different data sets etc.- Liaise with tool programmer and manage the functioning of data collection.- Support the drafting of technical narratives, publications, and other dissemination products.- Support in insight generation and knowledge transfer and lead mapping of potential intervention areas based on research.- Coordinate project-wide outputs related to execution, implementation, reporting, compliance, and updates.- Prepare documentation and reports for dissemination of information among partners, donors, and stakeholders.- Expected deliverables include but are not limited to cleaned datasets, calculated variables detailed analysis, and Insights deck.
