- Work with the CHAI Vaccines team by providing data analysis support to EPI with a focus on improving understanding of data on routine immunizations and supply challenges and constraints at district and facility level and identifying improvements- Work alongside EPI and CHAI colleagues to proactively identify potential improvements in tools and processes to increase data accuracy, completeness and timeliness as well as opportunities to strengthen existing LMIS systems and health management information systems (DHIS2) by EPI- Work alongside CHAI team in supporting EPI staff to implement routine processes towards improvement of data usage and management- Support our Vaccines Associate to engage district teams in implementation of a management review and response system- Support district planning, formation, and implementation of a data review and response system to facilitate the use of data to inform decision making towards improved vaccine coverage:- Plan and schedule regular meetings with districts and provide minutes and actions after meetings- Coach districts on using DHIS2 data and data tools derived by the project- Be curious and follow-up independently on ideas with DHIS2 data to provide additional insights to the national and district teams you are supporting- Engage district teams in implementation of the system providing both organizational support and acting as a technical advisor- Facilitate communication and coordination between central, district and facility level to ensure that implementation plans are laid out and communicated, district teams are engaged in the system, and facility staff are provided with sufficient support to implement improvements on a routine basis- Conduct analysis of stock and potential expiries within key districts, advise EPI accordingly, and support use of district and facility level supply data to inform key supply chain planning- Assist in supportive supervision activities to improve the ability of EPI to understand inventory levels and the challenges faced by district teams in supply chain management and data gathering from PHUs- Gradually transfer key skills to MoHS M&E counterparts in EPI through delivering additional coaching and training sessions (e.g. intermediate Excel techniques such as pivot tables, monitoring historical trends, data visualization, making effective data presentations)- Liaise with other CHAI program teams to improve coordination towards successful execution of data strengthening and supply planning- Perform other tasks as necessary
