- Manage, coach and develop a remote team of 5-7 full time employees (2-3 Program Managers/Technical Advisors and 3-4 (Senior) Associates)- Lead the design and implementation of market-shaping interventions (e.g., market intelligence, innovative financing, business planning support) that improve supply security and affordability of vaccines and accelerate availability in LMICs- Oversee analysis on vaccine market dynamics, such as demand forecasting, uptake modelling, production capacity planning, portfolio and pipeline planning, marketing strategies, etc.- Represent CHAI in and lead strategic initiatives at the global ecosystem level, e.g., understanding key market-shaping trends and defining market-shaping best practices to future proof the market- Manage and strengthen relationships with vaccine manufacturers that are or have the potential to become significant, quality-assured producers of vaccines for LMICs (incl. Developing Country Vaccine Manufacturers (DCVMs) across India, China, Korea, and Africa) by providing valuable market insights, offering targeted business planning support (e.g., go-to-market strategies for LMICs, vaccine pipeline planning) and guidance to navigate regulatory and procurement processes, and ultimately strengthening their commercial sustainability and interest in LMIC markets- Lead relationship management, budget development, and grant reporting with key donors, such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, and MedAccess- Manage and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, such as Gavi, UNICEF SD, WHO, IAVI, Linksbridge and other organizations in the field of vaccine market dynamics- Lead and oversee preparations of presentations, reports, and other analyses to inform global policy and increase the evidence base for high-impact interventions- Creatively scope and initiate projects that could contribute to further improving supply sustainability and accessibility of vaccines for LMICs- Support the development of concept notes and new projects- Oversee administrative activities related to the program, including closely liaising with team leadership to manage overall program budget, logistics, and human resources- Any other duties as required

- Support WJCF’s Immunization team and the Government of Bihar in implementing the routine immunization program by strengthening management, governance, service delivery, and supply chain aspects.- Provide the state leadership with insights to aid key policy, strategy, and program implementation decisions. The role also involves supporting the government in developing high-impact reports and presentations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Create an insight-oriented procurement fact base on the current state of global vaccine procurement, including analysis, insights and comparisons by region, vaccine, procurement entity, and funding source; an overview of UNICEF’s procurement model and analysis of its market-shaping power; as well as case studies of global pooled procurement initiatives.- Conduct qualitative research and analyses on regional procurement model motivations and aspirations with key stakeholders at the global level, at the continental and sub-regional level (e.g., Africa CDC, ECOWAS, SADC), with vaccine manufacturers and their associations globally and in Africa, as well as with governments.- Support a benefit-risk assessment of adopting a regional procurement model, with a focus on market and programmatic implications.- Support the identification and assessment of potential transition scenarios to a regional procurement entity in Africa.- Develop presentations, reports, and other analyses to be shared with external stakeholders.- Cultivate relationships with operational counterparts working across the vaccine ecosystem.- Perform other tasks as necessary.

- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of each CSO’s current organization structure, resources, and capacity for sustainability planning.- Organize workshops to educate the target CSOs on the concept of sustainability planning and its importance in achieving long-term impact.- Provide training on sustainable resource mobilization, fundraising strategies, and partnership development (including facilitating connections between CSOs and potential partners such as businesses, government agencies, and other non-profits.- Support CSOs in developing tailored sustainability plans, outlining strategies for generating resources, securing diversified funding sources, maintaining community engagement beyond the project’s duration, and ensuring the continuation of immunization support initiatives beyond the project’s duration.- Ensure communication and alignment of activities across government and partner stakeholders and across other CHAI programs to ensure coordination and successful execution.- Work with CHAI's technical teams and Program Manager(s) to develop and implement a coordinated program of support.- Support capacity building of key government functionaries on relevant competencies for sustained ownership and delivery.- Prepares technical notes and submits for review.- Prepare, review and initial sign off participants statement of payments and follow up on timely payment of participants.- Prepares and submits expense and activity reports within three days of completion of field activity.- Perform other responsibilities as requested by program leadership.
