Program Management:- Ensure effective management, coordination and synergies across all programs within the HSS cluster;- Oversee and manage all program staff working on the HSS cluster through talent management initiatives, succession planning and provision of continuous feedback and capacity building ;- Work with Human Resource in the process of hiring, promotion, and teambuilding to ensure effective team staffing, leave approval, administration and performance in a multicultural environment;- Provide direct support to program managers in the cluster in their strategic planning, budgeting, expenditure tracking, problem-solving, overseeing project performance against work plans and budget and overall grant management;- Work closely with the CHAI Zambia finance, compliance, headquarters and donors to ensure compliance with donor and CHAI regulations, ensure sound financial transactions including the approval of expenses based on set thresholds.- As directed by the CD, serve as official liaison between CHAI, donors, Government, regulatory bodies, partners, and other relevant governmental and non-governmental institutions on issues related to activities on the cluster.- Ensure effective documentation and knowledge management within the programs and provide technical guidance and oversee quality of deliverables and ensure that communications and work products that are shared externally meet CHAI standards.- Participate in Senior Management Team meetings and functions and provide strategic guidance and support on issues that affect the cluster.- Develop new and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders necessary to advance the program objectives.- In concurrence with the CD, provide strategic direction in reprioritization, expansion, scoping of new initiatives, proposal development, coordinating resource mobilization and fundraising efforts to help achieve program objectives of the CHAI Zambia office.Technical:- Lead the design and implementation of projects to support Government’s HSS priorities in Zambia based on WHO and other health systems strengthening frameworks to achieve UHC.- Provide technical oversight in the implementation and execution of CHAI Zambia’s health systems strengthening interventions and guide evidence-based decision-making regarding policies, guidelines, and program operations;- Ensure technical congruence between program activities, Governments priorities, and donor requirements.- Provide in-depth and high-quality technical assistance/inputs to GRZ health systems strengthening programs, policies, strategies and proposal development processes at all levels- Based on a firm knowledge of the distribution, determinants and distribution of health-related states and events collaborate with GRZ and other stakeholders to develop innovative technical strategies to strengthen health systems at all levels to improve health outcomes- Provide technical leadership, strategic guidance, oversight and continuity of CHAI’s support to GRZ on the following grants/initiatives:- Strengthening accountability across various health programs in the cluster to improve equitable access to high quality health services.- Oversee the implementation of the Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, and Newborn Health program work plans including program planning, budgeting, coordination, forecasting, monitoring and reporting. Including the provision of technical assistance to GRZ to assist with SRMNH program design and rollout influencing national research, policy formulation, strategic documents development and analysis.- Increase access of basic health services in rural parts of Zambia by strengthening community health systems including the enrollment, training, deployment, supportive supervision and motivation of Community Health Workers such as Community Health Assistants (CHAs) as well as other community systems strengthening activities- Addressing Zambia’s health workforce challenges including the training, absorption, distribution and retention of health workforce as well as pediatric workforce scale up activities.- Development and implementation of strategies to build health systems resilience to absorb “shocks’ to the health system including ensuring access to oxygen such as liquid oxygen (LOX). Also, ensuring health worker availability, safety and competence in the provision of both COVID-19 and general health services.- Sustainable health financing through improved financial risk protection, financial management and performance- Increase access to Assistive Products (AP) and systems for delivering assistive technology (AT) in Zambia. This includes providing programmatic and technical oversight for effective program implementation.- Ensure all programs in the cluster are on course to achieving their respective targets through effective monitoring, evaluation and learning.- Seize opportunities to build capacity, skills and relationships with Government and cooperating partners to develop competencies that ensure local leadership and sustainability of the programs.- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Country Director. - Support WJCF’s Immunization team and GoB in developing and implementing the programme ensuring supporting improvements in strengthening management and governance, service delivery, supply chain, and other Routine Immunization aspects.- Analysis of complex and multiple sets of datasets, generating routine and on-demand reports. Develop and socialize dashboards and custom-defined performance reports for state and sub-state functionaries to utilize for routine program review meetings, planning, and decision-making.- Develop purposive insights, visualizations, tools, templates, and planning aids that support in program management and progress tracking.- Help the team devise specific strategies and interventions to reduce the number of Zero Dose/Drop Out children in identified geographies.- Conceptualize, design, and coordinate program impact and progress evaluation surveys.- Significantly contribute to internal and external capacity-building initiatives by the team for improving data handling and decision-making competencies of target trainee cohorts.- Significantly contribute to the documentation of program progress through reports, presentations, and templates for effective internal use and dissemination of reports at the state and national levels.- Work independently and in groups to comprehensively execute planned immunization support interventions. - Ensure completeness and logical consistency of data collected by compounders / hub agents / doctors through regular and systematic checks of the data collected, and by escalating issues with the district lead and operational lead.- Synthesize project data into table, charts, and graphs to provide insight into data quality and project performance.- Assist in designing performance and operational dashboards from data collected.- Download redeemed vouchers report from eRUPI Assignor platform, and presumptive report from Ni-kshay, and perform reconciliation of individuals who have redeemed the voucher and availed the service.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive engagement strategy for leading RAC manufacturers and other relevant stakeholders in the Indian supply-side ecosystem- Build and maintain relationships with leading RAC manufacturers, component suppliers, retail store owners and other relevant supply-side stakeholders- Identify and develop opportunities for collaboration and partnership; understand challenges and risks in the RAC manufacturing and supply chain- Conduct comprehensive assessments of technology pipelines from leading manufacturers, including technology details, roadmaps, and barriers to commercialization- Analyze the cost structure of existing & next-gen products to identify opportunities for cost optimization- Lead the design and implementation of supply de-risking mechanisms, such as market commitments and agreements- Collect and analyze data to prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders- Support feasibility assessment of institutional procurement channels, analyzing volume expectations and operational requirements to facilitate supplier-buyer partnerships- Monitor and track progress, collaborate with internal teams to coordinate efforts, align strategies, and share strategic insights

 Responsibilities:- Support designing and re-designing of program approaches, priority interventions, and activities.- Participate in the execution of the program strategy/approach at all levels of the program engagement.- Development of program evaluation assessments to identify gaps and monitor progress. - To support the Division of Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health teams in execution of its strategy across the priority areas- To support county, sub-county and facility teams in strengthening service delivery across maternal, newborn, child and adolescent Health- To work closely with partner organizations at the national, regional and county levels in the execution of the National and county strategies . - To actively participate in identifying high-impact opportunities to improve on the care provision of children under five years across all counties in Kenya.- Provide robust data management and analytical support for the various program areas as required. - Assist with program budgeting and financial forecasts.  - Perform any other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

- Provide strategic and analytical support to EM O2 program implementation activities, including but not limited to, working with, and engaging with field staff to review programmatic activities, track implementation of activities, and monitor and review outputs.- Undertake research and analyze large datasets to generate insightful reports and dashboards that can inform programmatic decision making.- Closely work with State Lead to support officials in the DoHFW and other state governments including division and district level health staff in identifying and bridging gaps in hypoxemia management system.- Identify and communicate potential risks and challenges to the implementation plan and roll-out of activities; work towards addressing potential risks/ mitigation mechanisms.- Support the development of presentations, work plans, budgets, reports, proposals, articles, and other documents for ongoing and new areas.- Develop strong working relationships with and represent WJCF as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders in government, academic partners, suppliers, and other relevant organizations, and ensure coordination of resources and effort for maximum impact.- Support in the planning and execution of capacity building initiatives for key government functionaries and service providers on relevant competencies for sustained ownership and delivery.- Support program management and leadership team with programmatic activities, and evaluation and scoping of other potential intervention areas, as required.- Contribute to internal organizational initiatives.- Other responsibilities as needed.

- Identify important research questions within the mandates of the funded projects.- Ensure compliance with all local research ethics requirements and regulations.- Supervise data collection, management, and analytic staff.- Collaborate with data owners (e.g. MOH) to acquire data for analysis.- Prepare final data sets for transfer to overall AMBIT & Retain6 data teams- Implement and supervise all data and analytic aspects of the project including: 1) writing research protocols and SOPs; 2) developing and designing research tools; 3) coordinating data acquisition (data collection, transfer, dataset linkages, pre-processing, quality assurance etc.); 4) developing data analysis plans and sample size calculations; 5) conducting data analysis; and 6) writing up results.- Be able to set up and run descriptive and inferential and multivariate statistical analyses (including regression analyses, ANOVA), survival analyses, cluster analyses and non-parametric statistics as appropriate for different experimental designs.- Author analytic reports, abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts including data visualizations to contribute to presentations for stakeholders.- Train and mentor junior analytic research staff.- Travel to study sites and to meetings and conferences within and outside Zambia as needed.- As needed, participate in stakeholder meetings and represent the two projects to the Ministry of Health, implementing partners, funders, and other stakeholders.- Perform other tasks and roles as requested by AMBIT/Retain 6 leadership and CHAI leadership.
