- Lead grant management and reporting for key HIV prevention market shaping project.- Foster strategic collaborations with numerous internal teams and stakeholders, prime grantee, the donor, and other external stakeholders to strengthen project goals and facilitate cross-organizational coordination and execution.- Develop and execute a comprehensive capacity building strategy for the project to ensure capacity building goals are met effectively, efficiently, and within available resources.- Manage, coordinate, and develop inputs for routine reporting and donor updates, as well as ad hoc reporting needs, including requesting, reviewing, and consolidating inputs across numerous CHAI teams.- Provide strategic, operational, and tactical support for partner management and donor engagement, including facilitating information sharing, drafting agendas and meeting slides, supporting meeting planning, taking and organizing notes and follow-ups, etc.- Develop clear presentations to share findings and recommendations for internal and external audiences.- Support HIV Prevention Director in fostering a collaborative team environment which supports and engages team members.- Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with outstanding analytical, strategic, communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Create an insight-oriented procurement fact base on the current state of global vaccine procurement, including analysis, insights and comparisons by region, vaccine, procurement entity, and funding source; an overview of UNICEF’s procurement model and analysis of its market-shaping power; as well as case studies of global pooled procurement initiatives.- Conduct qualitative research and analyses on regional procurement model motivations and aspirations with key stakeholders at the global level, at the continental and sub-regional level (e.g., Africa CDC, ECOWAS, SADC), with vaccine manufacturers and their associations globally and in Africa, as well as with governments.- Support a benefit-risk assessment of adopting a regional procurement model, with a focus on market and programmatic implications.- Support the identification and assessment of potential transition scenarios to a regional procurement entity in Africa.- Develop presentations, reports, and other analyses to be shared with external stakeholders.- Cultivate relationships with operational counterparts working across the vaccine ecosystem.- Perform other tasks as necessary.

- Owning and leading the strategic design of market-shaping interventions to support the African vaccine manufacturing ecosystem.- Overseeing quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform global policy and increase the evidence base for high-impact interventions.- Providing technical assistance implementation to drive on-the-ground impact in scaling-up the African vaccine manufacturing sector (e.g., business cases for vaccine technology transfers, policy proposals for the procurement of African-made vaccines).- Proactively developing and managing relationships with key partners to support the growth of the African vaccine manufacturing industry.- Leading preparation of presentations, reports, and other analyses to be shared with external stakeholders through white papers, conferences, and academic journal articles.- Creatively scoping and initiating projects that could contribute to further improving the African vaccine manufacturing ecosystem.
