CHAI has been working in India since 2004 in close partnership with and under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) at the Central and States’ levels on an array of high priority initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes. Currently CHAI works across projects to expand access to quality care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis-C, tuberculosis, cancer and immunisation. Additionally, CHAI is also supporting the government of Madhya Pradesh (MP) on large-scale programs to arrest childhood and maternal mortality due to malnutrition, anaemia, diarrhoea and pneumonia, and helping increase access to quality Family Planning services.
In India, CHAI’s Family Planning program is working towards improving access to safe sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, including a wide range of high-quality contraceptive choices and safe termination of pregnancy care.
The Sexual Reproductive Health program at CHAI is looking for a Communications Manager to develop demand generation and community engagement strategy and enable implementation in the four target districts of Guna, Panna, Sehore and Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh.
CHAI is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual with background in designing community engagement strategies in data - scarce settings, managing large-scale communications projects including operationalizing and impact tracking. Successful candidates will have proven track record of structuring end-to-end engagement strategies from target group identification, mode of engagement to budgeting and impact tracking framework. He /she would also have experience operationalizing strategy including managing budgets and enabling quality and timely reporting on programmatic impact and financial indicators.
