The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries, while strengthening the capabilities of governments and the private sector in those countries to create and sustain high-quality health systems that can succeed without our assistance. For more information, please visit: http://www.clintonhealthaccess.org
In collaboration with the Eswatini National AIDS Program (ENAP) and the University of Heidelberg Institute of Public Health, CHAI launched a pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) demonstration project in August 2017 to assess the operationalization of PrEP in Eswatini as an additional HIV combination prevention method among population groups and individuals at high risk of HIV infection. Evidence gathered through this demonstration project will inform the Ministry of Health about acceptability, feasibility and cost for a National roll out of PrEP. In that context, CHAI Eswatini is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with outstanding credentials.
The Research Associate will work closely with the Research Manager to support the implementation of the PrEP study. This is a short term position with an expected end date of March 2019.
