    William J. Clinton Foundation (“WJCF”) India has been providing analytical support to NACO (National AIDS Control Organization), since 2004, in a number of areas ranging from improvement in the HIV testing and treatment efficiency, capacity and capability across the country. In the recent past, WJCF has also worked with NACO to understand the type and quality of data captured by different systems across the key divisions of NACO and the operational flow of various programmatic interventions. WJCF now plans to utilize its experiential learning in order to support NACO in the development of data-driven strategy to inform scale-up of diagnostic services and introduction of innovative testing mechanisms.


    The Volunteer’s role will be to provide analytical and coordination assistance to CHAI India’s engagement in diagnostic and laboratory services with the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO).


    We are seeking a highly motivated individual with outstanding credentials, analytical ability, and strong communication skills.  The Volunteer must have a quick grasp and be able to deliver defined tasks assigned effectively within the short time span of the engagement and have a strong commitment to excellence.  CHAI places great value on personal qualities including resourcefulness, responsibility, tenacity, independence, energy, and work ethic.


    • Conduct detailed analyses and mapping of the existing landscape of HIV diagnostics and labs network
    • Design pilots for different geographies and population groups to inform scale-up of HIV self-testing
    • Design linkages and sample transport networks between sample collection sites and testing labs for operational strengthening of Viral Load, CD4 and Early Infant
    • Diagnosis programs
    • Assist with designing tools and material for patient linkage, awareness and education
    • Collating and analyzing data from program initiatives to report actionable insights
    • Search, collate and present meaningful information relevant to the project activities
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Program Manager


    Minimum Qualifications-

    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Sciences, Business or a related discipline
    • Good analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and communication (written and verbal) skills
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, including ability to work independently, self-motivate, and propose and implement new initiatives
    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Ability to design solutions in a fast-paced, limited-structure, multicultural environment
    • Ability to be effective in high-pressure situations, handles multiple tasks simultaneously, and set priorities
    • Willingness to travel at short notice


    Preferred Qualifications-

    • Experience working in management consulting, investment banking, client facing or similar fast-paced, output-oriented environments
    • Experience partnering with NGO’s or demonstrated experience in related areas
