Program Overview:
The HCV program works on addressing barriers to access for essential diagnostic testing and treatment for HCV. The team works closely with various departments/divisions of Ministry of Health and other organizations to increase access to and accelerate uptake of new innovative drugs as well as diagnostics. Over the past few years, the program has been providing strategic and operational support both at the national level and at the state level in Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. This support has spanned developing strategic and operational plans, designing monitoring and evaluation tools to monitor and measure program performance, and formulating screening strategies through identification of high-risk geographies and populations.
Position Summary:
The Viral Hepatitis program works on addressing barriers to access to essential diagnostic testing and treatment for Hepatitis B & C. CHAI is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the Viral Hepatitis program in the state of Punjab and Haryana and will report directly to the manager, viral hepatitis at the CHAI country office.
