The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries, while strengthening the capabilities of governments and the private sector in those countries to create and sustain high-quality health systems that can succeed without our assistance. For more information, please visit: http://www.clintonhealthaccess.org
Established in Senegal since 2018, CHAI supports the Ministry of Health (MOH) to build sustainable health systems that provide patients with the care they need, when and where they need it, to improve health indicators and save lives. CHAI is now focusing on the priorities identified with MOH, including COVID-19, HIV, cervical cancer, and health financing.
CHAI wishes to continue to provide ongoing support to the MOH in the development of national policies and health system strengthening activities, and the Country Manager will play a key role in shaping CHAI's support to MOH by establishing a strong foundation in country. This includes building strategic relationships with government and other partners as well as program development and operationalization.
The Country Manager will be based in Dakar. They will lead and provide operational and programmatic support and guidance to the CHAI team in Senegal and help design future opportunities for country programs.
