CHAI has partnered with the Government in Lao PDR since 2014, supporting the MOH across several health programs: Supply Chain Strengthening, Malaria Elimination, and HIV and TB Access. The emergence of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic highlighted the need for strong emergency logistics coordination, processes, systems, structures, and capacity in Lao PDR. CHAI has been engaged from the beginning of the pandemic as the MOH-United Nations COVID-19 Supply Chain Coordinator for Laos, the primary development partner supporting the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 Finance, Logistics, and Planning Committee (“COVID-19 Logistics Committee”).
CHAI is seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent analytical and relationship management skills to continue and adapt this support to the country’s acute COVID-19 response needs for 2021-2022, while developing strong and sustainable emergency response systems. Key contributions will be:
